Mission & Vision Statements

Region 2 relies on the mission and vision statements of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Culture to direct its activities. They are as follows:

Mission Statement of the MOEYC
To provide a system which secures quality education for all persons in Jamaica and achieves effective integration of educational and cultural resources in order to optimise individual and national development.

Vision Statement of the MOEYC
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Culture must be the driving force for change, growth and achievement in education, training, culture, providing the policies, strategies, plans, legislation and resources (financial, human and facilities), to enable institutions, agencies and other bodies to achieve their agreed output.
