Evaluation & Utilisation
This section is responsible for the evaluation and utilization of
curriculum support materials. Its focus is on the following:
Needs Assessment
This is carried out to determine the appropriate requirements for
curriculum support materials at all levels of the school system.
Evaluation of Materials
The focus is on evaluating the suitability and effectiveness of materials
produced by the Media Services Unit or procured for use in the schools.
These tasks include the annual review of textbooks for the Approved
Textbook List for schools at the secondary level.
The Impact of Materials
This aims at determining the extent to which the materials have contributed
to the teaching and learning process.
